We are excited to announce our new Transitional Year Residency Program at MountainView Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada. MountainView Hospital is a state-of-the-art, full-service 340-bed community hospital located in the heart of northwest Las Vegas, one of the fastest growing areas in the Valley. We anticipate ACGME accreditation in early April, at which time we will be recruiting for 13 positions to begin July 1, 2017.

The Transitional Year Program at MountainView Hospital is anchored in a facility known for its commitment to patient safety and medical care. Residents will have the opportunity to work in an academic environment where they will rotate in our ACGME-accredited programs in Internal Medicine, General Surgery, and OB/GYN, with accreditation of a new Emergency Medicine program anticipated in the near future. All rotations will occur on-site at MountainView.

Our curriculum is designed to maximize the educational experience for each resident in concert with their individual career goals. Residents will have 28 weeks of fundamental clinical skills rotations, 4 weeks of emergency medicine, 4 weeks of ambulatory care, and 8 weeks of elective rotations (including Radiology, Anesthesiology, PM&R, Dermatology, Neurology, and Ophthalmology).

Please invite your unmatched students to consider our program and contact us with any questions.
