Our area has a consortium of multiple teaching hospitals and sites. Most Residents and Fellows rotate at the various sites in addition to their sponsored site. We struggle with having a relatively seamless site onboarding process. Can anyone share best practices on how their trainees are onboarded at different sites?

We use New Innovations and an onboarding checklist that is distributed by GME (institutional sponsor for those sites). Students upload their documents which automatically attach to their resident personnel records within Ni. This is for basic document and information collection that is common across all sites. If a site has something specific only to them they can request/collect that directly from their incoming resident. Otherwise, the Onboarding Checklist and Ni system handles it. PCs have access to the materials pertinent only to their incoming residents and they can check the progress of completion for same. They cannot see anything for residents/incoming residents at other sites.
